How does this app record calls?

To record a call, simply open CallTap while on a call and press the record button. The app will put the call on hold and dial the recording line. Once the recording line answers, tap the merge button on your screen to create a 3-way call between the other caller and the recording line.

If you wish to record an outgoing call, press the record button. The app will dial the recording line and begin recording as soon as it answers. Then, tap the add call button on your screen, call the person you want to record, and press the merge button when they answer.

Can I download recordings to my computer?

Absolutely! CallTap has made it incredibly easy to do so. Within the app, you can attach a recording to an email and send it to yourself as an MP3 file. You can also save recordings to Dropbox, Google Drive, iCloud, or any other cloud storage platform.

How many recordings can I make?

You can make as many recordings as you need with CallTap. There are no limits on the number of recordings you can create.

How long can a recording be?

With CallTap, there are no limits on how long your recordings can be. You can record for hours if necessary.

CallTap is free to try with the option to upgrade to an Unlimited Recording Subscription. Your Apple ID account will be charged at the confirmation of purchase or at the end of a free trial period (if offered).

Your CallTap Unlimited Recording Subscription will automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

Subscription options include monthly, quarterly, or yearly periods, each with its own price displayed in the app before confirming a purchase or starting a free trial (if offered).

The Unlimited Recording Subscription allows you to record as many calls as you like during each subscription period.

You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by accessing your account settings on the App Store at any time after purchase.

If offered, any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited upon purchasing a subscription.
